Only two elevators (as I was avare of) so there might be a slight wait in the rush hour(s) around breakfast and checkout, not really an isssue but worth noting if you are in a hurry.ĭo I have anything to complain about at all? Not really. Like with many hotels there is always a bit of a hassle adjusting the room temperature, (who can blame us, they are never the same.) slightly slow to increase the temperature but we got it right in the end. Nice size bathroom with the usual amenities. As my friend is a little paranoid of potential pests hitchhiking home with our luggage he gave the room a full check and we were happy to enjoy a spotless room. The quiet area combined with well insulated walls, doors and windows gave us two friends with small children at home a welcome quiet break. I have to add a special no to the hotel bar where we did enjoy a rather calm and relaxing atmosphere and a very welcoming and understanding bartender for our Norwegian shenanigans. Remember to specify your preferred meal time when checking in. (They might also have been offering other meals, but we settled to enjoy only the breakfast, which I must add had a nice selection of meal options from traditional English to continental. The hotel presents itself well with a large welcoming reception area offering seating and some very welcoming staff greeting you upon arrival. Immediately across the road you'll have access to a quite large Sainsbury's and also in the immediate surrounding area you'll find a few options for fast food and at least one location to grab a drink. They offer a decent size parking lot so for people like us arriving by car from London Gatwich it was an ideal location. The location is just outside Nottingham city center, just about a 15-20 minute walk away, maybe a tad longer to get to the rail station. I had the joy of weekend 3 night stay here while travelling with friends and cisiting Warhammer World
